Zetec to Exhibit TFM and Surface Array for Oil & Gas Inspections at MEOS 2019

Zetec will showcase its TOPAZ64 portable phased array UT device, which combines code-compliant phased array UT with the most advanced and highest live total focusing method (TFM) resolution in its class.

At MEOS 2019, Zetec will demonstrate how the TOPAZ64 instrument can help solve the oil and gas industry’s greatest inspection challenges, including high temperature hydrogen attack (HTHA).

Zetec will showcase its most advanced inspection technologies for oil and gas applications at MEOS 2019 (Middle East Oil & Gas Show) stand 52, in Bahrain from March 18-21.

In addition, challenging weld inspections can be handled confidently with Zetec’s high performance solution. Driven by Zetec’s industrially proven UltraVision Touch software, the TOPAZ64 instrument is capable of driving multi-group live TFM and time of flight diffraction (TOFD) at industrial inspection speed.

Zetec will also exhibit its MIZ-21C eddy current instrument, the first truly affordable handheld with surface array capabilities. The surface array solution can reduce inspection time by up to 95% compared to traditional handheld pencil probes, and the device’s ergonomic design and long battery life mean you can inspect more areas than ever without fatigue or lost productivity. The MIZ-21C instrument is available in three models to meet a range of inspection needs and budgets.

“The TOPAZ64 phased array UT instrument and MIZ-21C handheld eddy current instrument are the latest innovations from Zetec. They are renowned for their performance, versatility and advanced inspection capabilities for oil and gas applications” said Laurent Enenkel, Vice President, Zetec EMEAI (Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India). “We are looking forward to showcasing these technologies at MEOS 2019.”
