Webinar: Improve Manufacturing Inspections of Thick Carbon Steel Vessel Welds

Zetec announces that registration is now open for its latest live webinar, “Improving Productivity & Reliability for Manufacturing Inspections of Thick Carbon Steel Vessel Welds.”

The one-hour presentation in October will examine how a combination of fully mechanized Phased Array Ultrasound Pulse-Echo and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) techniques can offer “best-in-class” inspection capability while meeting ASME III and ASME VIII code compliance for manufacturing inspections, as well as ASME XI for pre-service inspections.

Hosted by Guy Maes, Sales Engineer Director Ultrasound for Zetec, the webinar is free and will be conducted twice:

– Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 7-8 a.m. PDT
– Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 10-11 a.m. PDT

Both sessions will include a live question-and-answer session. A recorded version will be available for later viewing.

“The manufacturing of thick-wall carbon steel vessels involves full volumetric NDT inspection of the circumferential welds,” Maes said. “This webinar will show you techniques that can improve productivity, safety, and reliability compared to industrial radiography (RT) and manual ultrasound technology (UT), giving you a competitive advantage in the NDT inspection marketplace.”
