This procedure is applicable to the manual ultrasonic phased array examination of full structural overlaid similar and dissimilar metal welds and adjacent base material using a dual array, contact examination technique.   Zetec's OmniScan PA 16/64PR Manual and OmniScan PA 32/128PR are both qualified according to this generic PDI procedure for weld overlays.
