Special Courses & Seminars
RFT is becoming recognized as a specific technique within the Electromagnetic Testing (ET) method. These Zetec courses are designed to be in compliance with the known procedural documents steering this process.
RFT Training
Formal Training Track ($900 / person)
Each course has prerequisites, a minimum defined content and format, and is concluded by an examination series as defined in SNT-TC-1A and/or CP-189. The testing would include General, Specific and Practical examinations. This more formalized structure would allow individual employers to use these courses as a qualification tool possibly leading to personnel certification (Level I / RFT -or- Level II / RFT).
RFT-100 RFT Inspection, Level I C/N 1898-05-25
The Level I / RFT format concentrates primarily on RFT data acquisition and inspection techniques. Ideally, attendees should have a Level I or Level II eddy current certificate. Previous experience with digital eddy current systems, specifically the Zetec MIZ-40RFT and/or the MIZ-27SI platforms is strongly recommended.
RFT-200 RFT Inspection, Level II C/N 1898-05-27
The Level II / RFT format briefly touches on acquisition but focuses more on understanding the data analysis process. Level I / RFT is normally considered a prerequisite. Ideally, attendees should also have previous data analysis skills based on a documented training and testing process.
ETD-300 Specific Hardware Training for RFT C/N 1898-05-08
Equipment Specific Training on these systems (ETD-300/RFT) can be supplied as well if this formal process does not fit your needs. Please call to discuss your specific requirements. Aircraft Recurrent Training
Have your QA auditors been coming at you with "how are you performing recurrent training?" If so, consider a set of the Zetec Training Tapes or customized short courses for your inspection personnel.
Option #1: Eddy Current Training DVD C/N 1898-05-21
This is not your classic modular type of training material. This DVD quickly takes you through the full range of formulas and theories that apply to the eddy current method. It is an intense, concentrated, set of modern material that, if properly documented within your QA program, could suffice to meet this criteria.
Option #2: ETD-300/Aircraft C/N 1898-05-08
We can also offer customized short courses that we could define as ETD-300/Aircraft. We would work with you to meet your content requirements. These could include a blend of classroom theory and laboratory hands-on applications that would allow you to meet your recurrent training needs and at the same time expose your inspection personnel to a range of new equipment and inspection applications. We perform this function for many organizations on a regular basis.
