Zetec’s fast, dependable service response assures that your equipment is on line, working properly, when you need it. In order to expedite your service and calibration requests, it’s critical that customers participate in our Product Return Process. Before shipping any equipment to Zetec for service and repair, please take a few minutes to complete the online RMA form to obtain an RMA number or telephone (425) 974-2645 for immediate assistance. Zetec Calibration Services
Zetec offers calibration services for our eddy current instruments. Our quality system is ISO 9001:2008 registered and we are also ISO 17025-2005 accredited. We also meet specific requirements of ISO 17025-2005 as they apply to eddy current equipment.
Zetec now offers value-added benefits with our Service Maintenance Contracts. Benefits include:
- Receive top priority when your equipment comes through our door.
- Reduce the risk of no coverage, or a gap in coverage, after the warranty expires.
- Maximize your investment by purchasing service coverage at the time you purchase your equipment. Multi-year coverage saves you even more and provides the best value based on annual cost.
Recommended Calibration Cycles
Routine calibration ensures that your instrument is performing to published specifications. Zetec’s factory trained technicians ensure that every instrument calibration follows Zetec calibration procedures. Instruments are returned with a Certificate of Calibration which is your proof of traceability to international standards. We also include calibration labels which indicate the date of calibration.
Power Generation Inspection Equipment
To ensure optimum performance of your instrument, Zetec recommends that electronic calibration be performed semi-annually. In no case should the interval exceed one year.
Equipment Calibration/Repair and Production Status
From purchase to retirement, from introduction through upgrades, you can rely on Zetec for comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of your product. Zetec makes every effort to support all of our products for five years beyond the last date of production. In some cases, manufacturer’s part obsolescence prohibits us from being able to repair every component on every piece of equipment that we sell and service. If we are unable to repair a piece of equipment, our customer service group will be able to recommend a replacement system that should meet your needs. Status of all Zetec products falls within the following categories:
Active – The product is currently in production and is recommended for new sales. The product realizes full support: all technical resources, calibration equipment, and available parts that allow repair and calibration.
Long Term Support – The product is no longer in production, but is still eligible for calibration support and repair capabilities.
Limited Support – Although the product is beyond the standard support life, it may still be eligible for technical support, as available.
No Support – Products in this stage have no support available. Recommended replacements are available.
