EIMS-BOP / EIMS-ENG
Eddynet Inspection Management System for Balance-of-Plant & Engineering
Zetec's EIMS-BOP introduces a new level of quality control and results management options that reduce time spent in the eddy current inspections of heat exchangers in balance-of-plant applications. This PC software makes it easy for managers, engineers, Level III inspection supervisors, and inspection service personnel to build a tubesheet map, plan the inspection, and manage analysis results.

EIMS-BOP is built on top of a powerful relational database engine, yet its user interface enables Data Managers to complete complex closeout tasks and
create query reports without learning SQL. Users of other Zetec data management products will find the EIMS-BOP interface familiar and quick to learn. Additionally, EIMS-BOP is able to import historical data files from other eddy current data management programs.
The EIMS-BOP product provides a comprehensive solution for fast, reliable
inspection planning, results management, and tubesheet mapping. A single database is maintained for storing all inspection
information from the initial test plans to analysis results.
EIMS-BOP Inspection Planning
An inspection begins with the creation of a database from a model file, which has all information about the heat exchanger and its tubing. The inspection database displays in the primary work area as a tubesheet map.
The inspection's Data Manager inserts predefined test symbols onto the tubesheet map that represents the tube to be tested. From this tubesheet map, the Data Manager creates unlimited test plans that divide the inspection into smaller, more manageable components.
EIMS-BOP Inspection Management
Built into EIMS-BOP is the ability to query the inspection database and create various reports including tubesheet maps, charts, graphs and report entry listings. Auto Reporting enables the user to define queries and reports that can be invoked repeatedly at regular time intervals. Automating these tasks can significantly reduce the time required to produce daily reports. Inspection management features unavailable until now include:

Create Current to Historical Report
Statistical Reporting provides quick, precise eddy current inspection results displayed in a variety of report formats-tubesheet map, line graphs, pie charts, or ASCII text. Report symbols are easily imported to avoid time-consuming duplication.
The Unaddressed History Report compares historical results to current inspection results. The report rapidly shows if all historical calls have been addressed in the current inspection. And, it reduces potential operator error with this automated comparison.
After inspection completion, Results Management Utilities is available to "scrub" the database and remove results no longer wanted in the database. The Create Current to Historical Report allows the user to provide a report of all new calls (results) from the current inspection versus the last inspection.
EIMS-BOP Tubesheet Builder
EIMS-BOP Tubesheet Builder is a powerful tubesheet creation and modification product that provides the user with a variety of importing and custom tubesheet creation utilities to handle the most complex tubesheet designs.
The Tubesheet Builder interface enables users to import and modify tubesheet files from earlier versions of Zetec BOP data management systems such as TMARS, MAPCAD, and HMAPS. And, it protects customer investment with compatibility to archived tubesheet maps that eliminates the process of re-creating those maps.
Our custom tubesheet creation utility allows the Data Manager to create complex tubesheet maps and yet have the flexibility to incorporate site-specific tube attributes:
Varying tube pitches
Multiple tube numbering and sequencing
Multiple sizes and tubing material
Section moving, scaling, rotating, flipping, and mirroring
EIMS-ENG
Eddynet Inspection Management System-Engineering (EIMS-ENG) is a monitor and assessment software application optimized for plant engineers. EIMS-ENG enables these engineers to efficiently manage the inspection process of analysis results. Plant engineers can remotely connect to an EIMS-BOP eddy current inspection database and monitor the progress of an eddy current inspection. They can also quickly identify potential damage through report queries and statistical report options. These reports provide valuable additional information and help guide with further action or investigation efforts.
