SM-23 Non-Entry Remote Fixture
To eliminate the need for an operator to enter the generator head, the SM-23 is mounted on the manway surface and mechanically positioned from a remote location by motor-driven mechanisms. Once installed, data acquistion can be conducted remotely.
The SM-23 is the only fixture in our SM-series that accomodates two tubesheet leveling options for the camera arm. The inclinometer auto-level option is available for horizontally oriented steam generators.

Two major components-the manway flange and the trunk/camera assembly-for easy installation

Detachable guidetubes-Standard or Dual for dual probe tests.
Rotational resolvers provide accurate, real-time graphic representation of the fixture's orientation
in relation to the tubesheet.
DC motors provide highly accurate movement of the SM-23 arms
TV camera mounted on the arm assembly for viewing the guidetube and tubesheet
from the remote station monitor
LED lights eliminate the need for bowl lights
SM-22/23/24 Controller provides fixture control and computer interface
Compatible with Zetec's integrated set of Eddynet software programs-Fixture Control, Probe
Pusher, Aquire, Inspection Planning System (IPS), and Inspection Management System (IMS).
