TC7700 Eddy Current Remote Data Acquisition System for Steam Generator Tubes
Zetec's TC7700™ is an advanced eddy current instrument designed for the high-speed inspection of steam generator and heat exchanger tubes. It supports all standard Zetec eddy current probes including bobbin and rotating MRPC® probes. Additionally, the TC7700 is optimized to efficiently handle the new Eddy Current Array probes that can provide high-resolution inspection data similar to that of rotating probes, but at nearly bobbin probe speeds.

Eddy Current Array probes have a large number of coils and can generate from 10 to 50 times more data than bobbin probes. The TC7700 generates the complex time-multiplexed coil drives that array probes can require and has enough on-board processing power to demodulate and process the large numbers of data channels that these probes produce.
The TC7700 is controlled with Zetec's Eddynet®Suite software. This acquisition and analysis software provides a visual overview of all channels through high-density color Waterfall Plots and C-scans. Automatic calibration and online software increases inspection reliability by automatically verifying the system calibration
as well as the soundness and
quality of data.
