Machine Vision Control
Auto Acquisition and Independent Tube Verification
Zetec built its Machine Vision product with two goals-Auto Acquisition and Independent Tube Verification. Because Machine Vision improves the fixture's locating accuracy, it eliminates the need for operators to manually jog the guide tube into position under a tube, for truly automated data acquisition. Accurate fixture locating also reduces wear, which improves probe life.

Using a supplemental camera, Machine Vision continuously collects "screen grab" images to track the tubesheet as the fixture moves. Using known tubesheet parameters, the images provide tube verification that is independent from the Zetec fixture locating method. This guarantees that the Zetec Remote Fixture correctly locates and services the tube of interest.
Machine Vision Control is packaged as a stand-alone box as well as for rack mount applications.
