Automated Pipe Scanner
Zetec’s APS is designed for rapid ultrasonic examination of various pipe weld configurations with either phased array UT or conventional UT techniques. This scanning mechanism is well suited for inspection in high-radiation environment such as reactor coolant piping and auxiliary piping in nuclear power plants. It is compatible with all Zetec UT and phased array UT equipments. Optional low-power laser and video camera are available for remote reference setting and position monitoring.
